Enamel Art

Yes I am also an enamel artist!

I have been working with enamel for over 10 years now. I discovered enamel after studying silversmithing at Edinburgh college of art. Wowed by the opportunity to work in colour I was hooked.

I love the process of working with time and temperature and my own slant on traditional techniques. Of course I am always in collaboration with my kiln, who generally has the final say on my finished pieces. I love the creativity of the dance, it’s pure alchemy. I am inspired by the natural world, the colours, the shapes and find creating the enamel panels as enjoyable as my time spent in nature.
