About me

Hi, my name is Kirsty

I am a clinical hypnotherapist, and a practitioner, teacher and student in ancient healing arts. I’m also a wife, artist and mother of two (plus too many animals). I’ve had the great fortune to enjoy a varied career, including the huge privilege of being a midwife and the one thing that connects it all is people. I’ve spent many hours of my life listening, supporting and advocating for others.

As a midwife, I saw pregnancy and birth not as an illness but as part of the human life cycle, and I used my knowledge and skills to guide the women and men I cared for holistically, congruently, with unwavering support. I apply the same ethos to therapy. Stress, anxiety, trauma, pain, addiction, fears, unwanted thoughts and behaviours, and phobias are things that can happen during a lifetime but I believe we all have the ability to change, rewrite the stories of our past, and live differently.

I trained in Ericksonian hypnotherapy at the Scottish Academy of Hypnosis and Mind Therapies, and I work with a combination of talking therapy, NLP, EFT,

Parts Work, Rewind Technique, Regression, somatic awareness and nervous system regulation, choosing whichever combination genuinely fits what you need, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

I root my work in compassion, humanness and partnership and the belief that we’re all capable of change, so we can live a life we deserve.

If this feels like the right fit, I’d love to hear from you.
